This Situation Report provides an overview of the Protection Emergency Response in Lebanon from 2 March to 3 July 2026. As of early July, more than 1.04 million people had been displaced, including 36,213 people living in 350 open shelters. The emergency had resulted in 26,782 reported incidents, 4,305 deaths and 12,203 injuries.
Protection, Child Protection and Gender-Based Violence partners collectively reported reaching 334,063 people. Key interventions included 168,881 awareness and information activities, 114,234 psychosocial support and case-management services, and the distribution of 36,180 dignity kits.
The response reached 108,624 people through general protection activities, 132,523 through Child Protection interventions and 91,088 through GBV programming, supported respectively by 37, 56 and 40 partners. Mount Lebanon, the South and Beirut recorded the highest overall reach.
