From January to June, 126 humanitarian organizations implemented activities under the 2026 Humanitarian Response Plan, which targets 1.9 million people. During the reporting period, 423,000 people received life-saving assistance. This represents a 21 per cent decrease compared to the same period in 2025. The humanitarian response focuses on addressing the life-saving needs of vulnerable people in areas affected by crises in the Far North, North-West and South-West regions. It also addresses the impact of the influx of Central African refugees in the East, Adamawa and North regions.
